Remember In Your Prayers:   Tom Morris who was hospitalized this past week.  All of our members and friends who are in the hospital, homebound, in assisted living or recovering.  Please pray for them.

 

Church Picture Directory:  The directories are here!!!  If you had your picture taken there is a directory with your name on it on the table in the Narthex.  Please be sure to pick it up.

 

Women’s Bible Study:  The Women’s Bible Study on Thursdays at 5:30pm continues with Beth Moore studies.  The “Believing God” series started January 7 with an intro, then it is a 10-week session.  Questions or interest call Debra Strodthoff – 268-7983

 

One Great Hour Of Sharing:   One Great Hour of Sharing will be on Sunday, March 14.   The theme for the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering is ‘Do you love me?  Feed my sheep’  John 21:15-17.  One Great Hour of Sharing, as part of our Church’s Wider Mission (OCWM), is the special mission offering of the United Church of Christ that carries God’s message of love and hope to people in more than eighty countries. All monies that you give that are “ear-marked” Haiti will be given through OGHS with 100% reaching the destination!

 

Vacuum Cleaners:  The church is in need of vacuum cleaners.  If you have one that you are no longer using, but still works, please bring it to the church.

 

Soup Supper & Lenten Service:  Soup Suppers are served each Wednesday during Lent at 6pm followed by a Lenten Drama and Worship at 6:30pm.  The theme is “Fear Not”.

 

Lenten Drama Players:  We need Players!!! We will try to have rehearsals on Sundays right after Worship Service.

 

White Breakfast:  On Tuesday, March 30th, the annual White Breakfast will be held in Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m.  We will provide a sign-up sheet to record your attendance so we know how many hot-cross buns to order.  Your friends are welcome to attend this time of fellowship and worship. 


Maundy Thursday:  The Maundy Thursday Lamb Dinner will be on April 1 at 6pm.

MT10:  The 2010 Mission Team will meet again on March 14th at 8:30am, and will hold a Bake Sale Fundraiser on March 28th before and after church!  Thanks to all our supporters!

 

Good Friday:  On Good Friday, April 2, we will be participating in a Ecumenical Service at Amery Free Lutheran Church @7pm. 

 

Easter Lilies:  There are forms on the table by the Sanctuary next Sunday for ordering Easter Lilies.

 

New Member Informational Coffee:  Is scheduled for March 21, at 8:30am in the Fellowship Hall. The New Member Informational Coffee is designed to be a simple event, family friendly and informative.  At the ‘Coffee’ we share our mission, vision, requirements for membership and expectations of members.  Please call the church office to make your reservation – 268-7390.  New members will be received on April 25. 

 

Camp Wapo:  We are scheduled for Bible Camp on July 4-9.  T.I.M Team starts July 2.  Registration forms are available in the Narthex and are due March 10.  See Kathy for details.

 

Offering Envelopes:  Please pick up your offering envelopes in the Narthex.  If you would like envelopes but there is not some with your name, please sign the sheet and we will get you some.

Daylight Saving Time:  This is just a reminder that DST begins on March 14.

 

Caregiver Support Group:  Amery Regional Medical Center – 3rd Wednesday of each month @6:30pm, Conference Room D.  All caregivers are welcome.  Contact Nancy at Polk County Aging Programs – 715-485-8599 for more information.

 

Forest Methodist Church Pancake Breakfast:  Will be having a pancake breakfast today from 9-1pm at the Forest Town Hall.  Free Will Offering.
